Our investigators are doing great! Yerco (20)and Yesenia (19)are getting ready to get married the 5th of February, then will be baptized the 6th and confirmed with the Holy Ghost on the 7th. I’m so proud of them! They are progressing rapidly and understand the importance of the gospel in their lives. They were references from their neighbor Hna Ana. I’m so glad that I had learned a good technique to ask members for references in Villarrica from my awesome Zone Leaders. We had a great lesson with them about baptism and we have always had lessons with members, I think that is why it’s been so successful. Yerco is from Santiago and he met Yesenia in Castro, Chiloè when they were 13 and 14 years old and they had a baby and have been dating ever since. They have two kids, Genesis (4) and Luis (6mon). They have been coming to church with us and the ward is really excited to have them because they are young and fun. They have made some big decisions quickly and that is why they are my heros! Yerco has stopped drinking alcohol and café(coffee). They understand the importance of the law of chastity and went to the civil registration so that they can make the preparations for matrimony. All the hours are taken and we are praying to find someone to marry them. Another thing that is really helping them when they have difficulty with sicknesses to come to church they understand the promises with God to prepare for baptism and come any way. They have a goal to get married in the Santiago temple in a year. There is no greater joy then to help someone get married in the temple!I love the mission!
