Jan 11-18‏

I LOVE THE MISSION!!! I encourage everyone to go on one!! Wow I Love the experiences, the people, the miracles, the happiness! Everything!

This week was great! My health has been a big challenge these last 3 weeks! This week I got a rash all over my body! I had felt really hot but it didn’t itch too badly so we went to this pharmacist that is a miracle worker here on the Island of Chiloé and highly recommended by all members and others that we talk to. He gave me a skin cream because I was worried that I was taking too many pills. The pharmacist thought that it was because of the sun, and I thought that it was weird that the sun would give me a rash. I’m from AZ and I know what the sun does it gives us sunburns but not rashes. Everyone in Chile says that the sun is really strong here because there is no OZONE but we weren’t in the sun that much and it has been cloudy. After thinking about a bunch of things it could be and trying a bunch of things to help it leave I felt so sick and exhausted one night that I just drank lots of water and went to bed so that I could just clean out my body and give it rest. Then the next day I felt so much better. I listened to my body that told me that it was sick of taking medicine because it is not accustom to pills. I was taking 2 pills with the name of CO-TRIMOXAZOL and CLARITROMICINA. They were great to take when I couldn’t hear but know it has bad side effects so I’m just going to continue to drink water and clean out my ears daily.

My companion and I have a goal to reach all the standards now that my health won’t be a problem. I’m so happy that my leaders and I have been so happy with the progress of this area since I’ve gotten here. It’s all thanks to the great leaders that I have had that I have become the great missionary that the Savior wants of me. I’m progressing and working hard. I love my companion and the different things that I learn from her. She has a great love for different cultures and languages.

We are having lots of success and are preparing two girls, Aranssú and Belén, to get baptized because of the program “PERMANACED” from the prophet Monson. Then we are also preparing Yerco and Yessenia to get married and then get baptized in February! What a great blessing! I have always wanted to help a couple get married and baptized. Today we went to the civil registration to get the information to get married.

Love Hermana Wade
